Open your Ledge Light Federal Credit Union account with a $5.00 deposit. This deposit represents your share in the Credit Union, and must remain on deposit in order to maintain your right to vote for the Board of Directors, and to participate in the available services.

Overdraft Options

Know Your Overdraft Options!

When life gets busy and accidents happen; having checks returned can be a costly and embarrassing experience. That's why Ledge Light Federal Credit Union now offers three methods of overdraft protection to help you avoid the inconvenience of returned checks.

SHARE TRANSFERS take funds from your share account to cover checks that exceed your available balance. (No charge for the first two checks per month, there after five dollars per check.)

COURTESY PAY service helps you avoid the problems of merchant charges for returned checks or inconveniences when unexpected expenses occur. If checks are received at Ledge Light FCU that exceed the funds available, we could pay checks totaling up to $750 depending upon eligibility.

EXECUTIVE RESERVE account is a line of credit attached to your checking account. These funds are accessible through writing a check or coming into the credit union for a loan advance.

VISA® Check Card

Use Ledge Light’s VISA Check Card anywhere VISA is accepted. Whether you’re shopping at home or across the world, Ledge Light’s VISA Check Card is the easier way to make purchases from your checking account.

Use it for all your purchases that you would normally write a check for — like dry cleaning, lunch, a trip to the grocery store or a stop at the gas station. You can also use it to order tickets and merchandise over the phone, or to make car rental or hotel reservations. It works just like a VISA card only the amount is deducted from your checking account.

You can use your Check Card at any ATM that has the Cirrus®, NYCE®, STAR®, PLUS®, SUM® or VISA® logo to get cash from your checking or savings account. You can also use it to transfer funds from savings to your checking account.
